Buck Creek Fish Fry
The largest fish fry in Indiana — all you can eat, plus a tractor and pedal tractor show, every 4th Saturday in August. Benefiting the Washington Township / Buck Creek Volunteer Fire Department.
Everything you need to know
Serving starts at 4:30 PM and runs until 7:30 PM — or until the fish runs out.
All you can eat
Fried fish, sides, and dessert — go back for as much as you like.
Dine-in or carry-out
Eat under the tents or take it home. No drive-thru.
$15 · Cash only
Tickets are sold at each food line the day of the event.

Come early — we serve until the time is up or the fish runs out.

Music playing while you eat, from the first food line to the last plate.
The silent auction is online
Browse and bid on donated items in the weeks leading up to the fish fry — bidding stays open until 10 PM the night of the event. Every dollar goes straight back to the department.

Eight decades of frying fish for the fire department
Since 1947, the Buck Creek Community Association has raised money for the Washington Township / Buck Creek Fire Department with a fish fry, raffle, cake auction, and silent auction. It has grown into the largest fish fry in the state of Indiana.
This is the department’s primary fundraiser. The money raised here buys much of the equipment our volunteers depend on — every dollar of your ticket helps them stay safe and better serve the community.
